Your beard is not like a Brezel: to shape it takes a lot more sophistication and when things go wrong, you can't just eat it.

Beard care takes a lot of time and patience and some degree of routine, of course, but this will come with the time.

Each morning I spend up to one and half hours for my styling. I start with washing and rinsing with a special premium shampoo. Then I use hair dryer and brush to dry and shape the hair. This is followed up by working a special gel into the beard to make it smooth. A special styling hair spray is used to bring it into the shape I want. It takes a really good spray that makes it stay in shape all day long. After another good use of my hair dryer I am ready to go.

Like many of my friends I am aware that it takes a lot of tolerance on part of your wife to cope with a man who spends more time in the bath room than a woman does. My wife Brigitta is a great supporter and she shares the beard fun with me - no matter what. She is also very proud of my successes and travels with wherever I go for a competition.
